The Cottage

Suitable for couples and families or the solo traveller, Forest Echo offers a peaceful and comfortable experience in one of the magnificent karri forests of Denmark, Western Australia.

Blue wrens, kookaburras and red-capped parrots are all regular visitors. Lovely elevated views take in the northern aspects of Weedon Hill.

Equipped with a large enclosed backyard, four-legged guests are very welcome, and the outdoor patio can be used for a car space or an undercover barbecue area. Stabilised earth brick walls will keep you cosy and warm in the Denmark weather.


The Amenities

With two bedrooms and one bathroom, Forest Echo comfortably accommodates four, with a trundle bed available for an additional guest.

The sunlit open plan living area features an expandable dining table, galley kitchen with full size refrigerator and microwave/convection oven, and a cosy lounge.

Washing and ironing facilities are available in the laundry area, and all linen is provided.

The setting

Forest Echo is typical of the ideal Denmark lifestyle, being at one with nature while having convenient access to the centre of town and all the South coast has to offer.

A 5 minute walk takes you to the famous Bibbulmun Track along Wilson Inlet and a 5 minute drive will have you at Ocean Beach. 

Also 5 minutes by car is the town centre of Denmark, where you can shop or sample southwest produce at several boutique galleries and businesses. Visiting the award-winning Denmark Bakery for a meat pie or sausage roll is also a must!

A 40 minute westward coastal drive will take you to the Tree Top Walk and Valley of the Giants. The historic port city of Albany is 40 minutes eastward from Denmark.
